Y.A.M TUNKU NAQUIYUDDIN is a well-known and highly respected corporate figure in Malaysia. After serving as a diplomat in France, he was also the Chairman of Antah Holdings Berhad. He was appointed Regent of Negri Sembilan from 1994-1999.
Y.A.M. TUNKU is currently the Chairman of several public listed companies like Sino Hua-An International Berhad (the first Malaysian cross border China listing) which was listed on the Malaysian Stock Exchange on 26th March 2007. He also serves on the Board of other public companies such as Ann Joo Resources Berhad and Orix Leasing Malaysia Berhad. He was nominated to serve as Committee Member of the KLSE from 1989 to 1994. He founded and chaired the Federation of Public Listed Companies in 1986.
Y.A.M. TUNKU is a keen environmentalist and was a Committee Member of the World Wide Fund for Nature (Malaysia and Business Council for Sustainable Development (Geneva). He is also the Pro Chancellor of Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysian (UKM) since 1st January 2004.
In November 2007, Y.A.M. TUNKU was made a Royal Fellow of the LESTARI Institute in Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in recognition of his work in the field of environment. In July 2008, Y.A.M. TUNKU was made a Fellow of Aberystwyth University.
