Y.A.M. TUNKU NAQUIYUDDIN is one of the most influential and prominent businessmen in Malaysia. Following his career as a diplomat in France, he assumed the role of Chairman of Antah Holdings Berhad. He was appointed Regent of Negri Sembilan from 1994 to 1999.
Y.A.M. Tunku is the Chairman of several publicly traded companies, including Sino Hua-An International Berhad (the first Malaysian cross-border China company listed on the Malaysian Stock Exchange) which was listed on the Malaysian Stock Exchange on 26th March 2007.
Y.A.M. Tunku also serves on the Boards of several publicly traded companies, including Techna X Bhd, Ann Joo Resources Berhad and Orix Leasing Malaysia Berhad. He founded and chaired the Federation of Public Listed Companies in 1986. In 1989, he was nominated to serve as a Committee Member of the KLSE till 1994.
As a keen environmentalist, Y.A.M. Tunku served on the World Wide Fund for Nature’s Malaysian Committee, and the Business Council for Sustainable Development’s Geneva Committee, where he co-wrote a book titled “Changing Course”, which was presented at the Earth Summit in Rio in 1992. He has been the Pro-Chancellor of Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) since January 1, 2004.
In recognition of his environmental work, Y.A.M. Tunku was named a Royal Fellow of the LESTARI Institute at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in November 2007. Y.A.M. TUNKU was elected a Fellow of Aberystwyth University in July 2008.
His current passion is to research into Green Energy and how hydrogen can benefit the world in its challenging pursuit to achieve a Net Zero carbon position.

Sean Yap, the Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of ProppyApp®, has forged a distinguished 28-year career marked by his steadfast commitment to excellence in the engineering, automation, financial, and property technology sectors.
Throughout his professional journey, Sean has held critical positions at both local and prestigious multinational corporations, including ABB Malaysia and SIEMENS Energy Management & Information Systems (Pte.) Ltd. in Singapore. During his tenure at these esteemed organisations, Sean spearheaded projects exceeding RM200 million, showcasing his proficiency in delivering effective solutions to complex challenges.
At ABB, Sean played a vital role in power automation with SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) system. SCADA system is essential for monitoring and controlling electrical power grids, providing real-time data and enabling efficient management of electrical networks. Sean was an instrumental team member in developing and implementing the first one-and-a-half breaker system, the first of its kind in Malaysia in the late 1990s.
This groundbreaking system was designed to ensure high reliability and operational efficiency in power distribution networks by minimising the impact of faults and maintenance activities, thereby ensuring a consistent and reliable power supply. Additionally, he facilitated the transfer of cutting-edge technology from Europe to Malaysia, ensuring local teams were equipped with the latest advancements, highlighting Sean‘s technical expertise and innovative approach.
Following his significant stint at ABB, Sean expanded his expertise during a valuable period at Citigroup in London. This strategic role allowed him to refine his skills and gain crucial insights into the financial sector before moving on to Siemens Energy Management & Information Systems.
At Siemens, Sean‘s leadership as the department head of the Communication Solutions Department was integral in providing communication solutions tailored to the evolving needs of the Asia Pacific power industry.
In 2013, after his time at Siemens, Sean transitioned to the financial planning industry, where he thrived for another decade, demonstrating his adaptability and versatility in navigating diverse professional environments.
Sean is a Registered Financial Planner with the Malaysian Financial Planning Council and served as the Country Chair for Malaysia’s Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) Membership Communications Committee from 2021 to 2022. MDRT is internationally known for establishing the benchmark of excellence in the life insurance and financial services industry.
Sean‘s academic accomplishments mirror his professional achievements. He holds a first-class honours degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the esteemed University of Sussex, UK. His outstanding performance earned him the prestigious Institution of Electrical Engineers Prize for the best Electronic/Electrical/Computer Science Major award.
